Zip Wires

Zip wires

We’re lucky enough to have our own woodland site near Whaley Bridge. Up here in the old quarry bays, we’ve got our zip wires set up. Join us and zoom along through the trees!

Zip wires as part of an activity day

Join us and try the zip wires on a private booking for your group. You can enjoyed the zip wires on their own, or as part of a bespoke activity day. On the same site we can also do team building, archery, bushcraft or our bridge building tyrolean. If you are planning a family day, a corporate activity or a stag/hen party, the zip wires are perfectly suited for a fun day out.

We currently have 2 zip wires available. Our Main Camp Zip is the first stop. We use this as our warm up. You will get shown the attachment process and how to get down at the end of the cables. You can then practice this while our instructor remains close at hand. From here we move on to the BigZipper. This is our 50m big one. You roar down from the highest point on the site, crossing an old quarry. You should check back here in future, as we are looking to add more zip wires.

The Main Camp Zip doubles as a safety line for our Bridge Building challenge. You first complete the crossing as a zip wire, but then you can build your own rope bridge crossing underneath it. This is a great team challenge for families or groups.

You are welcome to speak to us about a zip wire activity or a larger activity package. For a no commitment chat, contact us now.

PeakZip

PeakZip is our public zip wire activity. We run the activity on set dates and times throughout the year, and individuals or small groups can book on. We often have sessions running during the school holidays, so it is a perfect mini-adventure. The whole experience takes around 1 hour and you will get at least 3 goes, usually more. All equipment and instruction is provided. You can read full details of this activity on the webpage here.
