None required. We run the sessions in all seasons and in all weathers so a preparedness to be outside for a few hours is needed.

Please being clothing appropriate for a day outside including waterproofs and trainers or walking boots.
Long sleeves are required.
Long hair must be tied back.
Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
12 years or older unless arranged directly with us in advance. Age restriction purely based on the size of our archery equipment, so parents are welcome to get in touch to discuss child suitability.
Each child must be supervised by a parent on a maximum of a 1 parent to 2 children basis.
Archery is a satisfying ancient skill that tests our focus and physical coordination. Using bang up to date equipment, including hybrid compound bows, our activity will introduce you to the foundation skills of archery in a fun and relaxed woodland environment. Archery games and friendly competition will aid in your enjoyment.
No previous experience is needed and this activity can be enjoyed by anyone 12 years old or above. The activity can often be adapted to suit participants with differing levels of physical ability. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
This 2 hour activity will be spent outside, so dress for the weather. Our woodland site has basic toilet facilities and private onsite parking.
This activity would suit family groups, individuals and other small parties wanting to try archery for the first time or just try out a different type of bow than the regular fibreglass recurve bows common to outdoor centres. We keep our groups small, so it feels like a very personal service, you’ll be part of group of up to a maximum of 9 people to 1 instructor, rotating your turn in teams of 3.
Left and right handed bows are provided, along with arm guards and finger tabs. You will need to wear long sleeves to add further protection to your forearms and all long hair must be tied back.
